How to become a member

Membership is open to all and We are very keen to encourage junior members and have seen several young people progress to the National Junior Squad. There is a minimum age of 14 years for junior membership and only if they are of sufficient stature to support the rifle which is shot prone using a two point sling.

Wendover is a very friendly club and we pride ourselves on having a growing membership. We have a number of trained instructors that can help new members learn how to shoot and the club has all the equipment needed for you to use to start shooting without the need to buy equipment. Joining the Club

After completing the induction day we hope that you will have found it exciting enough to want to going the club. All new members have to serve a 6 month probation period before coming full members. Probationary members will receive on going tuition on Thursday nights until their instructor feels they have attained a good level. after six months the club committee will vote as to if you are ready for full membership which is based on attendance, safety and progress.

The cost of probationary membership is £50 in total for the full 6 months which covers all equipment use and training. The only extra needed is Ammunition which is very cheap and if  are brave you can buy a coffee.

After probation period the yearly costs are:-
Membership subscription is:- £40.00 per year
Juniors and members over 60/65:- £20

Range fee £35 per year or
Range fee per day:- £5.00

The following family discounts apply to the annual membership fee:-
1st Member 100%,
2nd Member less 20%,
3rd Member less 35%,
4th Member less 50%.
